Received the shipment in 5 well-packed boxes from CEVA. No problem with shipping, and no missing or damaged items. Read previous reviews and felt a little apprehensive, but after weeks--nay months--of shopping for the perfect table, we though we found it...and we were right! The chairs DO require some assembly, but after the seventh chair you will be a pro! I kid, of course. It took my wife and I just over three hours to assemble the chairs and table. If you're concerned about assembling the table, all you have to do is attach the legs...piece of cake!

It's a very beautiful and sturdy table. The leaf mechanism works very well. Our family enjoyed eating pizza on our brand new table this evening.

I purchased this table and chairs last year and it took over 2 months and 3 separate shipments to get all the pieces. On top of it, the supports in one of the corners of the table were cracked and broken off of the table in several pieces. I knew I would have to assemble the set myself (which was not a problem - I actually enjoy this part), but now I had to also dig out my drill, wood glue, and clamps in order to put the table back together again so I could attach the 4th leg. I know I could have just returned the table, but the damage was concealed (I wouldn't have seen it until all the components were completely unpacked and removed from loads of cardboard and plastic strapping), and the delivery guys were long gone, AND I had already been waiting over 2 months for my table and chairs when I was expecting to have it delivered within a week.
