9pcs Contemporary Black Counter Height Dining Table & 8 Stools Set

Comment: This is the first time that I have ordered something of this nature off the internet and I must say it couldn't have been any better. The dining set was exactly as it was listed. It is beautiful and the delivery was excellent. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Comment: I ordered this table on Sunday, June 13th and received it on Monday, June 21st. It came earlier than expected!! We put together 6 of the chairs and it took about 2 hours to do this. The table only had to have the legs attached and that was easy. We left the other 2 chairs in the box because we really didn't need them right now. It's a nice table and I'm happy with it....no reason to send it back. There are a couple of tiny places on the chairs and table that need touch up. I'm sure a black marker will suffice, just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. There is a spot on the top of the table that is a little groove or scratched, a marker won't fix that because of the indention, but here again it wasn't worth sending it back. The next table could have been worse. I have looked at and shopped for enough furniture to know that nothing is perfect, and that all furniture is going to have some dings or scratches. It just depends on what you are willing to deal with. I am glad we ordered this table, you just cannot find a black dining set with this many chairs anywhere in my area. It was inevitable....we had to order off the internet. I am scared to do that lots of times, as I have had bad experiences in the past. This was a good experience for us and EXACTLY the table & chairs we wanted and needed! Really enjoy it!!

Comment: Much like the review of another customer my table arrived in what looked like good condition. After taking it inside and removing it from the box we found that the legs had come undone from the underneath supports and had tore up the under side of the table, also there was a corner that was completely smashed. I emailed the company w/ photos like the site told me to do, but never heard back. So I called, over and over and emailed several more times. Still got nothing. I finally filed a complaint w/ Amazon, but was told to send back the entire table at my expense. I tried to work something out w/ the company to get a new table top since I have already put the chairs together and don't have the original packaging for them anymore. So now, a month later, here I am stuck w/ a busted up table that nobody will take accountability for. UPS won't pay for replacement since it was signed for, the company won't fix the problem because they want to put the blame on everybody else, and the warehouse they order from won't fix the problem because they claim it was inspected before shipping. I will never order from this company again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody else. I pursuing further claims against this company to try and have them fix this problem that they refuse to correct.

Comment: Received my table and eight chairs today Feb.15, 2010. Ordered on Jan. 30th. My furniture was ready to be delivered on the 4th of Feb., but Amazon had old contact info. and could not contact me. After that issue was taken care of we (Baltimore, Md.) was hit with over 50 inches of snow. So there were more delays. Overall, considering the situation beyond their( furniture company)control, I would have received my order very fast.(4 days) and in very good condition.:)

Comment: Item was received but took longer than originally quoted. I am very happy with the product. This set must be assembled. It took us about 2 hours. The stools are very sturdy and look great in our kitchen. One of the back support bars was off-centered. I called the company and they sent a replacement. Overall very happy with this set.
