Summary: Excellent quality 2010-07-06
Comment: While the package itself was a bit beaten up upon arrival, likely due to size/shape/weight, all components were fine. Assembly instructions were clear and assembly was easy, especially considering how sturdy the result is. Everything appears to be solid wood or butcher block - nothing appears to be laminate, which was a nice surprise given the price. I'm very happy with the result over all and highly recommend it.
