I had some space in my kitchen for an Island and used this instead. I love it! It is great that you can put two chairs on one side and and one on either side so I have space to stand in front of my 4 kids while I serve them food. I am going to get another stool so I can sit with them. The size is quite nice I can fit all my small food platters on the table. I can also fit a napkin holder salt pepper shakers and a nice slim vase with flowers. The chairs are comfy and easy to clean. I didn't put it together but my dad did it pretty easily. I gave it four stars because I don't know how long it will it last.

Beware of this dining table. The top's finish is poor quality. My table top only lasted little over a year. It bubbled up and cracked open - looks terrible! No customer service on this problem either. Very Poor Quality!!!!!

I poured over table options on the internet and decided on this table. It is better than I expected. The finish is more durable and less prone to scratching off than I thought it would be, however, I will still place 1/4" cut glass on top to protect it since a kitchen table always takes a beating. Once I figured out the first chair assembly, the rest of the three chairs went much quicker. A power screwdriver helps a lot, especially when tightening the diagonal screws on the legs' cross-brace pieces. The directions are ok and are the typical diagram-style of consumer-assembled furniture, though it didn't mention that you also need a Philip's head screwdriver. The table assembly was very quick since only the four legs need to be slid on and tightened with washers and nuts. The set is quite beautiful and has a great contemporary style.
