At first, I was so excited for this bench to come in. When it arrived though, and I began the assembly, I began to be disappointed with the amount of assembly required. The wordless instructions didn't make things any easier, because I was stuck trying to interpret confusing pictures instead of sorting through Chinese, Spanish, French, and English.
As I began to make progress on assembling the bench, I realized that many of the grooves and holes didn't match up to where they were supposed to match up. When I put the top piece on, the holes in the dividers didn't match up with the cam-bolts in the top, so the top doesn't meet the two middle dividers. When you sit down on the seat though, they do meet.
I was not pleased with the quality of instructions or the quality of the construction.

I ordered this product and received the top part of it damaged as well as 1 drawer front and 1 side panel, after a call to customer service they were very friendly offered me a small refund for my troubles and sent out a new piece. However it took several weeks so it was just sitting in my house taking up space. Despite the excessive packaging, when the replacement pieces arrived the top piece had a bigger scratch on it than the first one. I used some touchup stain and wood filler because I really did not want the hasssle of another replacement part. It looks ok now.
