Great set of well made metal chairs with quiet smooth rolling casters. The seat is not as plush and comfortable as it looks, but it is wide and spacious and will accommodate any size person. The major problem is that this 90 pound set of chairs is packaged in an ineffective flimsy carboard carton. As long as you verify that all parts have been delivered to you---and not spilled, lost or damaged from the split opened carton---you should be happy with this reasonably easy to assemble purchase.

The problem persists, though, so I'm still going through the wrecked wheels one-by-one.

Just tonight, the latest "threaded wheel stem fiasco" got worse: one of the flimsy stems actually broke right off, leaving the stem firmly inside the socket like a plug. Unremovable, which means the entire chair is now wrecked. If only Hillsdale had used the basic straight-stem casters that EVERYONE ELSE ON THE PLANET uses, instead of these awful ones with feeble threaded stems, this...Read more
