International Concepts 1C04-502 Double Pressback Chair Medium Oak

These chairs did match my antique oak chairs so they look good together. I only had four antique chairs so these made six and they were needed. There are two things that I was not impressed with. For the amount of shipping that I paid for each ($90. to $100. each) I was shocked at how I received them. They were in a cardboard box. (period) Granted it was a large box but it was crushed so the wood is brused in three places on one and four places on the other chair. There wasn't anything wrapped around the edges to prevent this. Also they are glued poorly so I'll need to reglue and repair them.

This chair is attractive, comfortable and a good buy. It is sturdy enough for a large friend to use but not bulky. The only objection I have is that the rungs are a little roughly finished and I wish it was just one shade darker. I must have liked it since I bought another one too.

we ordered these chairs and they came in record time!! The finish is very nice on all of them, and the workmanship seems good on 3 of the chairs. the fourth chair was not properly nailed together and at the top, where the carving is, is pulled away form the back . Just a small thing, but at the price we paid, it is a pity.
