Doesn't take up much space with the leaves down, but has room for two people with the leaves up. Attractive and you can't beat the price. FYI, it is a DOUBLE drop leaf table, hard to tell from the photo. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Round Dining Table in Natural - Coaster (Kitchen) Perhaps my expectations were too high for a $112 dollars, but honestly, this table is awful. It's not worth half of that in my opinion. Parts were stapled to the bottom of the table top with some sort of red ribbon. Come on. Why do I need to spend time pulling staples out of a brand new table? Now I have gouge marks on the underside of the table top where I had to force a screwdriver under the staples to get them out. Just dumb. They forgot to drill pilot holes for attaching the table top to the "so-called" pedestal. No big deal as I could just do it myself. One of the legs had a serious gouge in it. Not a scratch...a gouge....guess I have to re-finish that now now too.....lastly, once it was together we sat at the table and you simply cannot touch the table top without it wobbling and twisting from side to side..I am not talking about it rocking because it isn't level on the floor. This review is from: Round Dining Table in Natural - Coaster (Kitchen) Four problems:
My table was stapled into some plastic wrap and red cloth used to keep the parts separate during shipping. I can't get the staples out, which I can live with, but it's ugly to see staples on the table's legs. Ugly scars from the wrapping is bad enough, but there's an actual dark stain of some sort on the table edge as well. The manufacturer forgot to drill holes on the underside of the table. It was terrible trying to screw the legs to the table without a drill. The first time I got up from the table I scratched my leg when it brushed up against the underside of the table. Very poor sanding job down there, definitely no finish. The table itself is shaky. Maybe it's from my troubles connecting the table to the leg. Maybe it's from weak construction. I dunno. If it wasn't so much trouble I'd send it back. The price is good; but if I could do it again I'd pay more...Read more |
