Beautiful chairs!!!! But upholstery was stained with brown paint....maybe from the espresso legs....,

It was a shame. The chairs were beautiful, but came from the warehouse stained in some parts of the upholstery..... The sad part is that it does not come off....not very pleased, speciallyfor what I have paid for them!!!

I searched on every website and furniture store possible to find a nice looking set of ivory chairs that would not be white or beige and clash with my ivory/cream leather couch that they sit directly behind since our kitchen is open to our family room, and these are the perfect fit! The only thing I personally would change is the size....I wish they were scaled down a little bit for a better fit under my table; but they are still fine. Great quality, nice looking, so easy to clean with kids, and surprisingly more beautiful than pictured. I'm a picky West Elm/Crate & Barrel girl, but I didn't want to pay $350 per leather chair for the chairs that went well with my Terra dining table from West Elm after just spending tons to furnish my dining room and remainder of my new house. I thought I'd get these for now and upgrade later, but I'm so pleased with them I don't think I'll upgrade for a while!

These chairs are OK. They are comfortable. The legs are a dark brown, not black like the picture shows. Like other reviewers, I had an issue with the stain getting on the back of the chair. Customer service was friendly and offered a discount or to send another chair back. I opted for the new chair back because I couldn't clean the stain off. The seam on the top of one of the chairs was a little bit off, but I can put that one on the backside of the chair. If you're not trying to save money, I would recommend the Home Decorators Oscar Dining Chair. But, for $118/set, this was quite a deal!
