This nightstand looks very nice. It took two of us about one hour to put together. All parts were present and instructions were easy to follow. Just make sure you follow the directions exactly as stated and you will have no trouble. The material is not solid wood, but particle board with a veneer. But you can't expect anything else for the price. We are pleased so far and have had no trouble with how the drawers funtion, and how solid a piece it appears to be.
