The table looks gorgeous and sturdy and is a great fit for my studio apartment kitchen. However the corner of my table arrived damaged or I would have rated it 5 stars.

The top itself is dense fiberboard with a semi-rough white plastic shelf type paper on it. The chrome edging is about the thickness of a pie plate. Badly packaged for shipping it came damaged, the corner of the top was crushed and the chrome edging was bent. Some screws had worked loose and were freely rolling around in the box. Even if it hadn't been damaged in shipping we would have sent it back. Shoddy manufacture and poorly packaged.
